10 Anniversary of the Educational Cooperation between Austria and New York City

Past, Present, Future

Since 10 years, there exist close ties between the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, the New York City Department of Education and the City University of New York in a multifaceted collaboration, and hopefully there are more decades of productive cooperation to come. Compared to other bilateral cooperation projects, the singularity of the Austrian-American Educational Cooperation lies in its duration as well as in the variety of the different projects: professional teacher development, overseas graduate education, and a „virtual enterprise“ program based on Austrian models.

This book gives a broad overview of the achievements and further goals of this ten-year partnership and features the reflections of founders, staff, teachers, students, faculty, friends and supporters of this successful project.
